Parents should ensure that their child's documents meet the official travel requirements for Hong Kong.

If your child needs a visa to travel to Hong Kong, you must apply for it using the same passport that holds their UAE residency visa!  

Review the sample documents and the relevant official checklists to ensure that all specific criteria are met.

Approximately 170 nationalities are eligible to enter Hong Kong without a visa for a period ranging from 7 to 180 days. To confirm the entry requirements for your child, please click here.

Please note, if your child is eligible to enter for 7 days without a visa, but the school trip is for 10 days, they will be required to apply for a visa.

We recommend that all minors travelling internationally, without a parent or guardian, carry both a signed parental NOC and a school NOC with them. Samples of each are provided below. This can help to mitigate any potential issues at border control and streamline the immigration process.
