Kazakhstan is the largest landlocked country in the world, known for its vast steppes, modern cities, and rich nomadic heritage. Blending ancient traditions with rapid development, it offers stunning landscapes, from mountains and deserts to the futuristic architecture of its capital, Astana.

Fun Fact: ​Kazakhstan is home to Baikonur Cosmodrome, the world's largest and oldest space launch facility. Built in the 1950s, it was the launch site of the first satellite, Sputnik, and the first human spaceflight by Yuri Gagarin.

The currency used in Kazakhstan is the Kazakhstani tenge (KZT), which was introduced in 1993 to replace the Soviet ruble.

Kazakhstan has an extreme continental climate, with hot summers and cold winters due to its vast size and landlocked location. The country experiences low rainfall, with dry steppes and deserts in the south and more varied conditions in the north. 

Winters can be harsh, especially in the capital, Astana, which is one of the coldest capitals in the world.

Parents should ensure that their child's documents meet the official travel requirements for Kazakhstan.

If your child holds multiple passports and plans to travel with one, while their UAE residency visa is linked to another, please make sure they carry both passports during their trip! 

Review the sample documents and the relevant official checklists to ensure that all specific criteria are met.
